Bogey bird nailed. Soil Hill Woodcock

Woodcock which unfortunately flew right across the sun

                                       Skylark up singing

A bright late pm on Soil Hill and a productive hour.
Whilst treading the sloppy area for Jack Snipe I almost stood on what I first thought Snipe till I realized it was a Woodcock. I had about 10 seconds to snap away at it but unfortunately it flew towards the west summit right across the low sun.
Also present were 8 Meadow Pipits, 4 Skylark, one of which was up singing, 1 Mistle Thrush and several Starling.
