A good check round

                                       An overfull Leeming Res.

An horrendous morning with near gale force WSW>7-8 with lashing rain throughout .
A check round the local reservoirs failed to produce the goods and the best birding was back in the village at the Shelf Moor Lapwing field.

I guess in another two weeks the Lapwing will start to move off to their breeding grounds.
