Soil Hill blues

                          Looking west from the hill
                                                 Sun going down
                                                 Moon coming up
Mark and Caroline leaving the hill.

Did,nt get free until 1530hrs today so it was up Soil Hill for the last half hour. Decent weather for once with clear blue cold skies but birdless both on the deck and in the air. Two Skylarks were the only residents of the hill whilst 5 Fieldfare flew over high despite plenty scanning around 360 % for Pinkies.
Nice to meet Caroline and Mark Murray when I was leaving although somewhat embarrassing as I have only met Mark a couple of times in the distant past and after talking to him for 5 minutes he had to tell me who he was. Sorry Mark/ Caroline, I,ll know you the next time.
As they left they had the same idea as me, to check the Raggalds Flood , which added to the hill blues, nothing.
Hopefully across to Leeshaw in the morning counting Pinkies ?
