More Pinkies for Queensbury and another dip for me !

                                                   Foxhill Common gull

                            Sunshine, showers and rainbows, Foxhill.

Another blustery, showery day but much brighter than yesterday with real goose moving conditions.
Was expecting Pinkies over the park at lunch time during perfect conditions but not to be, just the usual Common gulls, still in low numbers , along with a few BH gulls.
Single Fieldfares kept zipping about the trees as well as several Blue Tits.
Back at work at just after 1400hrs I got a hurried phone call from Cllr Cromie to look towards his house, geese going over.  I grabbed the camera and out in the car park but once again missed the lot ,even though they passed within 100yds of the garage.
When I rang him back for details he said there were 2 large skeins that had come from Shelf direction, over the village traffic lights and above his house at Station Rd heading >NE to go up the Aire valley.
The position they were moving made them blanked by houses from me but a good record again for Queensbury after Sundays skeins.
Thanks for the call Paul.
