Snipe Mania

                                              Few more Snipe from yesterday

A day of much milder temperatures with low cloud and drizzle driven on by a W>5 .
A quick check on the trailer field midday found around 30 Lapwing, c 200 Starling , 3 mobile Snipe dropping into the juncus field and a new sp. for there with 3 winter plumaged Reed Buntings also in the juncus field. Unfortunately a dinner time dash so no time to check the lower fields for Snipe.
Otherwise things were quiet around the village with just a few Woodpigeons >S first light.
Should be getting a glut of continental Blackbirds shortly with c7000 heading inland from Spurn Point today.
