                                       Ogden LBB gull
1 of the few Shelf Moor Lapwings
                                                  Green Lane Little Owl
                                           Ogden in full techni colour

                                               Firecrest area

A bright clear day with a heavy overnight frost.
Set off for Leeshaw first light but the roads were treacherous with ice so diverted to Ogden.
Although good numbers of Woodpigeons were being reported none came over the Ogden air space but I could see flocks well to the SE of me.
Some good tit flocks were around the Firecrest area but only a handful of Goldcrests were mixed in with them.
The water held 1 Little Grebe, 1 LBB gull, 1 Cormorant and the usual sp.

Shelf Moor trailer park field was near deserted with just 4 Lapwings and no sign of the Lapwing flock or yesterdays 23 Snipe, whilst Green Lane produced 1 Little Owl and a few Redwing in the Holly bushes.
