Queensbury today and a Willow Tit for Clayton.

A foggy start then good skies the rest of the day with 80% cloud cover .
A few flurries of  Redwings were around the village with 6 over the garage early on then 8 over Chapel Lane midday and another 6 over Foxhill park lunch time.
The sky was perfect for moving Pinkies but gazing skyward as much as possible throughout the day only got me was a stiff neck and a near disaster walking off the kerb.
A cracking report today when a customer, birder rang me to say he,s had a strange call in his garden at Clayton the last few days which he put down to a Coal Tit but the bird showed itself eventually and was seen to be a Willow Tit. A great record for this area. Many thanks to Mr Hicken for this info, hopefully it will stay around a while.
