                                                 Fieldfares piling through

                                      Greenfinch heading >NE

A big Fieldfare move over Queensbury this morning from 0900hrs until the fog came down at 0945 until late morning, but even then they could be heard chacking overhead.
At midday large flocks were still coming over Foxhill park all >NE along with a few Chaffinch and around 80 Greenfinch in small groups, some stopping off briefly before heading off again, also >NE.
Around 500 Fieldfare were estimated although several were missed due to work.
A large influx of Starlings has hit the village with massive flocks moving around garden feeders and Rowan trees.
