Queensbury Today

A slight taste of vis mig this morning with the perfect misty then clearing slowly conditions.
Meadow Pipits were coming over >S from 0615hrs drying up by 0730hrs with around 80 being counted.
Swallows were also moving >S coming over higher than the Mipits with several right on the misty cloudbase and probably above.
Alba Wagtails were moving >W with 7 counted before and on the way to work.
All was quiet at lunchtime up in Foxhill park apart from a few Black Headed gulls and the usual corvids, will have to stop taking the big camera up with me, that seems to stop the job.

A good report today that the local Tawny Owls have be spotted two nights now after dark flying around the roost area but a check this dinner time found no signs of birds or pellets at the roost tree.
