Soil Hill 100% Blank

                                    A desolate hill

Fog heading in from the N.
                                                   Close to shutdown

Soil Hill  1445-1545hrs  Strong NW>6 Heavy horizontal drizzle, mist then dense fog.

Getting difficult to get a late afternoon session in now with light rapidly fading after 1500hrs and today was made worse with heavy drizzle as I arrived followed by mist and then thick fog stopping the job.
A thorough search of the whole of the top of the hill, west and east including several searches of the mounds found nothing although in the conditions it was hardly suprising. See Queensburybirder for NKs report.
Came away after nearly 1 hour and not a single bird of any description seen, that must be some sort of record.
DJSs flock of Siskin were again at Sainsburys Halifax at 1415hrs feeding in trees around the entrance at the filling station end and some in trees across the road near the flats. Looked around 20ish but driving at the time.
Looks like Fly Flatts will be off in the morning due to fog and saddo gunmen so hopefully Ogden will produce for me.
