Soil Hill/ Ogden

                              4 Cormorants present + 3 fly overs >E

                                                            Gt Tit
                                            1st winter LBB gull

Soil Hill was deathly quiet apart from the usual Skylarks, Linnets , Grey Partridge and Mipits although 1 late Wheatear was a good find on the Ned Hill track end.
Ogden was the same with very little sky movement and just 30+ BHGs on the water, when suddenly 4 Cormorants flew from the north end to land on the water near the float and shortly after 3 individuals flew over all >E. A Kingfisher zipping through the willows was a bonus and I think my first there this year, and a 1st winter LBB was unusual.
Lets hope for those big thrush flocks in the morning.
