NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

Ogden

I,ll have to be quieter next time

                                                 Plenty BHGs on the move.
1800-1900hrs
An ideal evening for Ogden with black storm clouds and heavy showers, real moving material.
LBB gulls were still moving well all >SE through the col whilst BHGs were heading >NW  with about 200 of the latter in the hour I was there.
During one torrential shower 4 f Goosander came over high and >N possibly heading for the Oxenhope roost if its started yet? whilst a Teal lifted off from the reeds on the western bank and spiralled high and away to the >NE.
About 40 BHGs were on the water and 1 of the old faithful LBBs on its usual perch. The resident Heron was hiden in the reed bed until it heard me and moved to its favourite perch at the top of the reservoir.
