Ogden evening visit

                                      Juv LBB gull

Battle of the skies, Magpie and Kestrel
                                           Kestrel retreating
   Rare appearance  Juv Moorhen

Best I could do with a Peregrine

An hour at Ogden this evening in good moving conditions, grey skies, light drizzle and slight S>3 though the light was a birders/photographers nightmare with everything appearing in silhouette.
Gulls were active both on the water and in the sky along with hoards of swallows.
A single female Tufted was present and a juv Moorhen swam across the middle of the water from the east bank to the west, a very rare sight at this location though seen last week by Denise.
Last bird of the night as I was getting in the car was a Peregrine over very high and >W.
