Hirundine Day.

A hot sunny day with blue skies but it did have the benefit of bringing a steady flow of Swallows most of the afternoon along with 6 House Martins and a single Swift all >S. Is anyone going to get a September Swift this time, we  seem to be on the last few dregs now.
Black Redstarts are starting to show early this year with one spotted today, AC Calder/ Northowram birds, so its watch those old buildings time whilst we await DJS to do his usual act and find us a local.
Very little else today in the blue skies with gull movement on hold.
