Evening Excursion.
Just taking a few Little Owl  pictures at Shibden Top when I got a call from DJS saying a Herring/ Yellow Legged type gull had just gone over Cold Edge Dams towards Ogden so it was a quick drive over there to check it out.
On the way I stopped briefly at Ned Hill to check the col and saw several gulls heading through in various directions so hoping some were down at Ogden off I went.  Ogden was just about void of birds apart from 1 BH gull and all the usual sp so back to the watchpoint.
Several LBBs were about as well as Black Headed and Common but no Herring type. Some were heading in to Thornton Moor from the west whilst others were leaving heading off east probably to the Esholt roost.
Two Kestrels were in the air together and a single Whitethroat was singing from inside the bramble.
