Queensbury Today

Ogden Grey Wagtails, picture kindly taken and sent in by Ken Jarvis.

Back on line , hopefully to stay, now that Ive sorted the problem with my dongle, but thats another story.
Thanks to Ken Jarvis for the above photo of Grey Wagtails at Ogden, a bird Ive yet to catch up to this year even though my partner in crime NK informs me that they are back on their breeding ground 5 minutes away from the garage. This takes me on to welcome Nigel back from lands afar and back to where he belongs on Soil Hill where already on his first visit he,s found Grasshopper Warbler and Yellow Wagtail, see Queensburybirder.
Very little for me to report other than 5 Swallows over Foxhill park midday>N and 2 House Martins >E.
The cold spell seems to have slowed the Swift movement down.
At least we,ve a long weekend to look forward to, weather permitting.
