Winter morn, Spring birds. Fly Flatts

                                          A touch of spring
                                          Plenty Canadas around

                                           LBBs moving >N
                                        Common Sandpiper returned.

    Good job it was me with a camera and not a nugget with a 12 bore.

Fly Flatts  0715-1000hrs.  Sunshine, Frozen puddles, icy cold N>5. Good visibility.

A pleasant but cold morning with the north wind blasting across the water but sunshine making the birds move.
Meadow Pipits were moving >N along with LBB and Common gulls whilst later in the morning Swallows and House Martins were coming through.
Only 1 distant Wheatear across on the rocks below the track and no sign of Twite but managed to find the Common Sandpiper near the boathouse,reported by Calderbirds earlier in the week.
