Winter morn, Spring birds. Fly Flatts

                                          A touch of spring
                                          Plenty Canadas around

                                           LBBs moving >N
                                        Common Sandpiper returned.

Good job it was me with a camera and not a nugget with a 12 bore.

Fly Flatts  0715-1000hrs.  Sunshine, Frozen puddles, icy cold N>5. Good visibility.

A pleasant but cold morning with the north wind blasting across the water but sunshine making the birds move.
Meadow Pipits were moving >N along with LBB and Common gulls whilst later in the morning Swallows and House Martins were coming through.
Only 1 distant Wheatear across on the rocks below the track and no sign of Twite but managed to find the Common Sandpiper near the boathouse, reported by Calderbirds earlier in the week.

6 Pied Wagtail
2 Redshank

Well done to get early House Martins as well and Common Gulls. Not a bad morning Bri. Just hoping for a raptor afternoon!
