NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

Soil Hill

                         One of three Pied Wags
Top of the world, Soil Hill Trig Point
1500-1600hrs
The hill had a real Billy bad head on today with a howling NW>6 carrying horizontal drizzle and low cloud followed by heavier rain just to finish off with.
Did a thorough search of the hill end to end, top to bottom with no sign of Wheatear or Ring Ouzel, just the usual hardy residents.
1 Curlew
14 Meadow Pipit
5 Skylark
3 Linnet
3 Pied Wagtail
Forecast looks grim for morning.
