Back to winter

The scene this morning on the way to work
                           Deep drifts across Chapel Lane

                          A deserted High St

                                      Going nowhere
Even the Blue Tits had to dig their way out.

Early morning blizzards left Queensbury isolated until midday when thing slowly started moving again
Out of 12 cars booked in to the garage for M.O.Ts and repairs today only 3 made it leaving a backlog which looks like its going to be Easter working to catch up.
Once again the council ceased to exist with no sign of ploughs or gritters when they were needed, even now most of the side roads are inaccessible .
Seemed odd to get a grapevine message from DJS reporting Swallows, Sand Martins and House Martin arriving this morning at EGP.
With the snow continuing till late morning followed by grey skies pm nothing of note was observed other than all bird feeders were heaving with diners.
