The Breeding Season

As from now until the end of the breeding season birds of a sensitive nature will be omitted from this blog due to a small percentage of undesirables who take their pleasure from egg collecting, nest destroying and the killing and trapping of birds.
Reports of non breeding birds moving through the area will still be published. BS

Woodpigs on the move

To the west and blue skies

To the east and milky skies

Turn of the Woodpigeons this morning with several hundred over >S on my way to and at work with flocks of up to 80.
By 0900hrs the movement had stopped although several Meadow Pipits kept moving >S until midday.
About 200 Fieldfare and 50 Redwing came over >S early morning and several more could be seen in the distance to the east of me, again over Bradford.
