The Breeding Season

As from now until the end of the breeding season birds of a sensitive nature will be omitted from this blog due to a small percentage of undesirables who take their pleasure from egg collecting, nest destroying and the killing and trapping of birds.
Reports of non breeding birds moving through the area will still be published. BS

Back to good old Queensbury weather.

Gale force winds and driving rain was the order of the day today which is more like the stuff we are used to up here on the top of the hill rather than that nasty hot stuff that was with us last week.
Needless to say empty skies were experienced throughout the day and all I could manage was this evening in an attempt to catch up to DJS and Jen on the great  supermarket bird race was 4 Pied Wagtails in Illingworth Morrisons car park.

One up to you this week - all we could manage at Sainsbury's this morning was a single Goldfinch over. Watch out next week!!!
