The Breeding Season

As from now until the end of the breeding season birds of a sensitive nature will be omitted from this blog due to a small percentage of undesirables who take their pleasure from egg collecting, nest destroying and the killing and trapping of birds.
Reports of non breeding birds moving through the area will still be published. BS

Evening skies over Foxhill

A good Meadow Pipit move first thing this morning but not the rush expected. Mipits were coming over Queensbury in small tight flocks but this fizzled out by 0745hrs leaving just a few stragglers following on all >S.
A single Alba Wagtail flew over >W closely followed by 2 very high Herons also >W.
