The Breeding Season

As from now until the end of the breeding season birds of a sensitive nature will be omitted from this blog due to a small percentage of undesirables who take their pleasure from egg collecting, nest destroying and the killing and trapping of birds.
Reports of non breeding birds moving through the area will still be published. BS

Some memories of Ogden 2010

Female Wigeon found by NK

Resident Dipper

1 of numerous Robins

Bullfinches showed well

BH Gulls arrive back late June

The oddball duck found by NK

A cracking male Wigeon

Pink Footed Geese overhead

Female Goldeneye

Male Goldeneye

1 Arctic Tern, 1 Common Tern, Sept.

A fresher day today with some good grey moving skies although very little in them.
LBB gulls were moving >W early morning but this soon fizzled out and nothing else of note was seen, hence the photos.
Unfortunately yesterdays 2 Ruff had moved from Fly Flatts but well done to NK for making the effort to walk all the way from Queensbury up there to check them out, thats one hell of a dedicated birder.
