The Breeding Season

As from now until the end of the breeding season birds of a sensitive nature will be omitted from this blog due to a small percentage of undesirables who take their pleasure from egg collecting, nest destroying and the killing and trapping of birds.
Reports of non breeding birds moving through the area will still be published. BS

New piece of kit

Zooms from 24mm to 720mm

The monitor goes in various positions

Doesnt have built in birds, youve got to find your own.

Been highly satisfied with my Fuji s 8000 18x camera for the last 3 years so jumped in and got the
new Fuji HS10 which has an amazing 30x zoom equivalent to SLR 720mm. It seems well stabilized and, although
it cant match a slr, for a look and shoot it should do the job, time will tell. I,ll still carry my 8000 about during the week all the time as its less bulky than the new one but as the Ospreys come over Fly Flatts this autumn Ill be waiting !

Why not tripod mount it, point it toward the Balearics on enhanced digital zoom and get Audouin's Gull?
