The Breeding Season

As from now until the end of the breeding season birds of a sensitive nature will be omitted from this blog due to a small percentage of undesirables who take their pleasure from egg collecting, nest destroying and the killing and trapping of birds.
Reports of non breeding birds moving through the area will still be published. BS

Fly Flatts yesterday evening

The harbour at the SE corner has filled up but the
spits are still well exposed.

Just a couple of pics showing the water level at Fly Flatts yesterday evening. Despite the heavy rain the water level is well down and now attracting gulls to the north shoreline.
All quiet in Queensbury today other than a couple of Pied Wags over >SE and the large flocks of young Starlings in Foxhill.
