The Breeding Season

As from now until the end of the breeding season birds of a sensitive nature will be omitted from this blog due to a small percentage of undesirables who take their pleasure from egg collecting, nest destroying and the killing and trapping of birds.
Reports of non breeding birds moving through the area will still be published. BS

More pics from Fly Flatts yesterday

Cage birds, 2 Oyks

Always nice to see Dunlin

Lets hope the water level stays down

Typically today the wind dropped just as we got back to work. At least it will make the Ogden firefighters job a bit easier, no smoke seen from Queensbury today so hopefully the job is under control.
Mega busy today after the holidays so little time for watching though from what I saw the skies seemed quiet.
1 Heron flew past the house this evening >N and several Swallows are about but still no Swift.
Did anyone get to Fly Flatts today to see if the Barwit was still present?
