Queensbury Today

A bright start which soon gave way to cloud then rain with the wind increasing to gale force W >7 before easing down again mid p.m. Several Fieldfare came up out of the old station and headed >SE in front of the bad weather and a flock of c40 Lapwing flew over the garage >E just as the wind was increasing.
By mid day not a bird was to be seen in the gale force wind other than 2 BH gulls on the football pitch up Foxhill with their head to the wind.
