Typical Monday

Back to work and a lovely bright clear morning after a day off yesterday of thick fog from start to finish, how annoying is that.
Woodpigeons were coming over well at first light but this fizzled out by 0845hrs.
A very birdy morning otherwise with flocks of feeding birds everywhere as if they had waited for the fog to clear so they could get out and get some feeding done.
A group of Starlings of approx 80 birds were around the Foxhill area first light with several corvids and up to 28 Common Gulls.
At mid day a flock of c100 Fieldfare were heading >N up the valley above Thornton and several smaller flocks could be seen in the same area sighted from Foxhill Park.
Two amazing sightings today were reported to me from HC at Oxenhope, one to the north of us and the other heading in the direction of Soil Hill. DCB has not updated his blog at this point so Im not going to spoil their thunder, Ill let you see what they were on the vis mig blog as soon at its updated. Well spotted to Howard Creber, the man with the eyes of a sh+* ole rat.
I,ll tell you Howards technical description of the first bird when all has been revielled.
